Items in Final Fantasy IX are split into several categories. Use the links below to see the items in each category.

• Armour - Defensive equipment that provides protection against physical and/or magical attacks and provides abilities to characters.

• Consumables - Single use items that have a variety of uses; Recovery items, Offensive items and Jewels.

• Key Items - Special items that relate to the plot. These items can not be sold.

• Weapons - Offensive equipment that provide physical attack damage, elemental effects, status effects and abilities to characters.
