Final Fantasy VIII - Items

Items in Final Fantasy VIII are split into several categories; Consumables, Key Items, Magazines, Materials & Weapons.

With the exception of Weapons (which can be found in the Bio section of each character), the following pages will list the items; detailing what they are for and where to get them.

Consumables - These are items that range from Healing wares to Ammunition and are single use items that range from abundant to very rare.

Key Items - There are only 4 items that can be classed as "Key Items" that serve a purpose in the plot or are special items used for a specific purpose.

Magazines - There are several types of Magazine and they each have a purpose. From teaching Angelo and Zell new techniques to weapon modification recipies.

Materials - These items are specifically used to upgrade weapons or refine into other items and even Magic.
